John Parker died at his mother’s residence near here Friday noon, the 14 inst., aged 40 years. He had been an invalid for a number of years, and a brain complication having set in the first of the week which hastened his demise. He was truly a Bible student and died happy and in full faith. He leaves a mother, brothers and sisters to mourn his loss. Interment was at Pleasant Plain, near Colfax.
